The department will provide an ALS ( Advance Life Support) ambulance 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. The ALS ambulance is staffed with a licensed Paramedic and a licensed EMT- Basic. The department will also be staffing a BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulance by our volunteer EMT-Basics should it be needed in case the ALS ambulance is out providing service to the town. The BLS ambulance will not be staffed 24/7 and will only be staffed when a callout is made.
